He was predeceased by: his parents, John Saxberg and Bessie Saxberg (Wilhelm); and his sisters, Barbara and Joyce. He is survived by: his former wife Janet Larson; his wife Lois Huffman Jensen; his sons, Brian Saxberg (Lisa) of Binford, ND and Christopher Saxberg of Boca Raton, FL; his grandchildren, Kristen Kerber, Lexi Broschat (David), Caitlin Hetland (Kevin), Maddie Krabbenhoft (Dylan), Emily, Benjamin, Sophie, Trevin, Hazen, Waverly and Phineas Saxberg; his siblings, Karen Bulick and John Saxberg (Karol); and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Atkinson and Roger Huffman (Beth). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given to the Cooperstown Volunteer Fire Department, Cooperstown Ambulance Service or Hero Cemetery.
