He was predeceased by: his parents, Melfred Monson and Margaret Monson (Johnson); and his siblings, Betty, Irene, Gail and David.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Fahlgren; his son Jason (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Katelynn and Jake (Ponder Texas); his son Jeff (Lisa); his grandsons, Billy, Hunter, Alex and Jonah of Minot, ND; his son Andy (Brittany); his grandchildren, Isaac, Ava and Axel; his siblings, Albert Monson of Appleton, MN and Lori Brothen Breezy Point (Kent); and his nephew Steven. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
