He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Monson and Wilmina Monson (Sutter); his brother-in-law David Hoverson; his son-in-law Benjamin Recla; and his father-in-law Gayle Wrangham.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Wrangham; his children, Jill Larson (Pat) of Hannaford, ND, Kami Recla of Raleigh, NC and Lance Monson (Taylor) of Thompson, ND; his grandchildren, Jenna, Eli, Sawyer, Gabby Larson, Austin, Lauren Recla, Julia, Brittany and Willa Monson; and his siblings, Julie Hoverson, Dennis Monson (Jo Ann) of Cooperstown and Dean Monson (Carol) of Cooperstown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
