She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hoyt and Agnes Hoyt (Hoggarth); her spouse Andrew Walen; her son Gary; and her siblings, Verna, Betty, Delores, Emery and Vernon.
She is survived by: her son Alden Walen; her grandchildren, Tara Walen, Jessica Jacobson (Walen) and Andrew Walen; her great grandchildren, Tenley Jacobson, McKenna Jacobson and Layne Jacobson; and her brothers, Duwayne Hoyt and Edgar Hoyt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
