He is survived by: his mother Gladys Walen of Cooperstown, ND; his brother Alden Walen of Sutton, ND; and his nieces and nephews, Tara Walen of Cooperstown, ND, Jessica Jacobson (Curt) of Amenia, ND, Drew Walen of Grand Forks, ND, Tenley Jacobson, MacKenna Jacobson and Layne Jacobson. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
