It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary C. Nelson (Cooperstown, North Dakota), who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nelson and Constance Nelson (Johnson); and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Stokkeland, Lennis Stokkeland and Tom Wall.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Nancy Mueller (Brandon), Brandt, Brody, Matthew and Gavin; and his siblings, Steve, Tim (Betsy) and Connie. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1104 Roberts Ave NW, Cooperstown, ND 58425). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
