He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Oas and Edna Oas (Westerness); his wife Charline Inscore; his daughters, Shelley Nelson and JoAnn Jones; his grandchildren, Chad Nelson, Aidan Vanderhoef and Aubrey Guymon; and his brother Arlin (Karen Oas).
He is survived by: his children, Geraldine Oas, Shane Oas (Anna), Mitzie Nay (Dennis) and Myndi Johnson (Harlan); his grandchildren, Michael Davis, Charles Nelson (Jodi), Rusty Guymon (Jess), Amber Nygard, Christopher Larsen, Levi Oas (Hailey McGregor), Miranda Johnson, Cole Johnson and Kieran Lundy; and his son-in-law Tim Nelson. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
