He was predeceased by: his friend Chuck Dunklee; his former wife Sue Norton Tirapelle; his brother John Tirapelle; and his parents-in-law, Ernie Coldren, Steve and Sandy Sielig.
He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Tirapelle (Tom Baldwin) and Abigayle Tirapelle; his grandchildren, Anthony, Carson Burns, Savannah and Seth Baldwin; his siblings, David Tirapelle (Debra) of Rancho Murieta, CA, Loretta Coldren of Jackson, CA, Patty Moser (Bill) of Jackson, CA and Julie Foust (Billy) of Elk Grove, CA.; his parents-in-law, Betty Brooks (Fred) of Grand Forks, ND, Butch Norton (Sara) of Minneapolis, MN, Patt Norton of Indianapolis, IN and Tommy Norton (Deb) of Nuevo, CA.; and also Emily Christine. He is also survived by his numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made in Russ's name to the Amador County Historical Society.
