He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kastrow and Shirley Baumgartner (Fischer); his stepfather Oscar Baumgartner; his brother Elmer Kastrow Jr.; and his former wife Leona Kastrow (Boehm).
He is survived by: his wife Leona Boehm; his children, Jesse Boehm, Harlan Kastrow, Tyler Kastrow and Tishina Kastrow; his siblings, Gene Kastrow (Mary) and Virginia Lee (George); his stepsiblings, Rodney, James Baumgartner, Randy Baumgartner and Patti Mattern; and his close friend Deb of Center. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
