With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Butler (Cavalier, North Dakota), who passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thorson and Olga Jorgenson Thorson; her husband Tom; her sons, Tom and Jeff; and her brother Shorty.
She is survived by: her children, Lanny Butler (Diane) of Crozet, VA and Deb Torkelson (Rick); her granddaughters, Elisabeth Butler of Richmond, VA., Amy Miller (Brandon) of Sammamish, WA. and Katie Torkelson of Redmond, WA.; her great grandchildren, Nathan and Luke Miller; and her sisters, Alyce Rasmusson of Longview, WA, Dori Lund and Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in honor of Yvonne be sent to Wedgewood Manor in Cavalier, where the staff treated her with love, care and respect.
