He is survived by: his wife Judy Austfjord Fladeland; his children, Mary Gaulke (Jim) of Minneapolis, MN, Camie Thompson of Grand Forks, ND, Janine Norton (Kevin) of Grand Forks, ND, Mark Steinke (Janelle Brandl) of Grand Forks, ND and John Steinke of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Katie, Emma Gaulke, Sophia, Blake Thompson and Kyle Norton (Lindsey); his great grandchild Charlotte Norton; and his siblings, Jim Steinke (Darlyn), Warren Steinke, Donna Hillman (Herb), Richard Steinke and Ruth Webster.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Mayo Cancer Research, Rochester, MN or Altru Hospice, Cavalier, ND.
