She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Sturlaugson and Alpha Sturlaugson; her parents-in-law, Ida and Alfred; and her brother Robert.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her children, Darrell Kemnitz (Karen), Kathy Fisher (Chuck), Linda Paulson (Lynn), Nancy Jenson (John) and Duane Kemnitz (Shawnda); and her sister Karen Clark (Charlie). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
