It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hartje (Cavalier, North Dakota), born in Crystal, North Dakota, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott "Dike" and Flossie Hunter (Fly); her husband Glenn Hartje; her son-in-law Harry Chernenko; and her sisters, Lola Boese and Anna O'Dell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Chernenko of Bismarck, ND and Glenna Hartje (Douglas Wittmier); her nephew Larry Hartje (Jan) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Kristin Martian Bismarck (Jeff) and Kyle (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Reegan, Fulton, Avery Martian, Gabbie and Paxton; and her sister Donna Anderson of Nampa, ID..
