He was predeceased by: his parents, Erik Thorlakson and Joyce Thorlakson (Skaro); his siblings, Tom and Shirley; his brother-in-law Mel Martin; and his father-in-law Ervin Gustafson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Hope, Hannah and Hailey Thorlakson; his siblings, Kay Lyshoj (Tom), Jim Thorlakson, Nancy Thorlakson and Connie Johnson (Keith); and his sisters-in-law, Tammy Thorlakson and Kathy Thorlakson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Askew Funeral Home (209 Elizabeth St W, Cavalier, ND 58220). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
