With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Watson of Cavalier, North Dakota, born in Backoo, North Dakota, who passed away on October 3, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Werven and Mae Werven (Martineau); her former husband Dean Quinnett; and her siblings, Maurice, Lawrence Werven and Mae Dahl.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Watson; her children, Dean Quinnett (Terri) of Kent, WA, Doug Johnson of Cavalier, ND., Terry Johnson (Jodi) of Cavalier, ND., Guy Quinnett of Cavalier, ND., Dee Quinnett of Cavalier, ND. and Patty Quinnett of Cavalier, ND.; her grandchildren, Joey (Russell), Paul, Eugene, Garrett, Chad (Katrina) and Janna (Justin); her great grandchildren, Julia, Darlyn, Gavin, Sawyer, Brogan, Garrett Jr., Elaina, Lucas, Evan, Tyler, Eva, Maelle and Maddy; and her siblings, Donald Werven, Matt Werven (Janet), Gordon Werven (Linda), Evelyn Swift, Luella Latozke, Betty Hanson and Lorraine Martinson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations sent to Diva Dogs Racing to continue Jan's support of her great granddaughter, Eva, and her goal of running the Jr. Iditarod.
