It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Izak Potgieter of Cavalier, North Dakota, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barend Potgieter and Margrietha Potgieter (Myburgh). He is survived by: his wife Ida Louise Schutte; his children, Jani Brivenboer (Martin), Ben Potgieter (Elanie), Johan Potgieter (Chanel) and Ilze Potgieter; and his siblings, Lofty (Petra), Rensche and Marie. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
