He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Earl and Myrtle Emily Surerus (Ault). He is survived by: his children, Kristene of Whitefish Bay, WI, Kelly, Sherri of Lisbon, ND and Kory of Cooperstown, ND; his grandchildren, Melinda of Wahpeton, ND, Ernest, Shantelle of Rutland, ND, Dannielle and Gunnar of Grand Forks, ND; and his great grandchildren, Eric, Theodore, Emeerah, Ollie and Maverick.
A reception was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Askew Funeral Home (209 Elizabeth St W, Cavalier, ND 58220).
