He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Einar Olafur and Helga Abrahamson (Gudmundson); his brother Construction; his wife Sally Abrahamson (Dickison); his children, Tana Marie Abrahamson (Farron Johnson), Finn Edward Abrahamson (Linda Jones) and Kristine Helga Moberg (Kenneth); his siblings, Einar Abrahamson, Agnes Hagstom, Alrlene Holen (Danny) and Aldis Pearson (Wayne); his sister-in-law Karen Abrahamson; his grandchildren, Travis Baker (Lora Voigt), Randy Baker (Tawny), Nicholas Baker, Erik McDonald (Teletha), Lovisa Hammock (Jacob), Finn Bogi Abrahamson, Jon Abrahamson, Tressa Rempel (Geoff), Micheala Burling (Ben), Joseph Beaudoin (Kenzi Griffith) and Emma Silvernail (Kurtis); and his siblings, Jon Albert, Edmond and Alice Westra.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Icelandic State Park to honor his vision for the love of the park.
