She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stegman and Anne Stegman (Muth); her son Dalton; and her brother Edgar. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Staples; her sons, David Staples (Denise), Douglas Staples and Darren Staples; her daughter-in-law Bernie Staples; and her siblings, Arelene, Helen and Curtis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (108 Elizabeth St W, Cavalier, ND 58220). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
