He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Thom and Evelyn Thom (Lunde). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his daughter Rachel Jobe (Scott) of San Jose, CA; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Austin, Jordan Jobe, Gwen Sott (Herman) of Cavalier, ND and Mark Thom.
