He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Estad and Stella Estad (Bolstad); his brother-in-law Joel Anderson; and his stepson Robbie Hannesson. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Michael and Sherry Fjestad (Dan); his stepchildren, Leah Austfjord (Warren) and Troy Hannesson (Angi); his grandchildren, Cole Hodny (Leah), Jacob Fjestad, Mariah McWalter, Jaden Fjestad, Abby McWalter-Jerome (Cooper), Brynn Estad, Stella Fjestad, Kayla Uhlenkamp (Dave), Cassie Doyle (Dustin), Chelsey Kemnitz (Jason), Tyler Hannesson (Jayden), Kendra Hannesson (Kyle) and Karisa Eddington; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Adalyn, Kayden, Owen, Gordon, Pystal, Mia, Estelle, Joe, Scarlett and Oscar; and his sisters, Sharon Anderson and Janice Maras (Roger).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the United Lutheran Church (104 Bjornson Dr, Cavalier, ND 58220). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
