He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hagen and Jennie Hagen (Nelson); his wife LaVonne Ardis Ratzak; and his siblings, Sherman, Virgil and Marlys.
He is survived by: his son LaDell; and his sister Diane Bratvold. He is also survived by three nephews; seven nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (400 1st St S, Fessenden, ND 58438). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (1921 47th Ave NE, Fessenden, ND 58438).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery: 4870 20th Street NE Fessenden, ND 58438.
