Joan Van Laere Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Van Laere (Casselton, North Dakota), who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Nooks" Kapaun and Lorraine Kapaun; her sister Jean; her granddaughter Andrea Leitheiser; and her brother-in-law Jerry Harmacinski.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her children, Loree Leitheiser Scott (Robert), Karina (Wayne LeBlanc), David Van Laere (Sharon) and Todd Van Laere (Marsha); her siblings, Renee Kapaun, Bob Kapaun (Martha), Bill Kapaun (Robyn) and Jayne Meyer (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Dolores Harmacinski and Tom Van Laere (Ann). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
