He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Bertsch and LaVerne Bertsch (Neumiller); his wife Brenda Boyle; his stepchildren, Joni Rosenbury (James) of Casselton and Jonathan Boyle of Casselton; his grandchildren, Catilynn, Nevaeh, Micah and Nicholi Rosenbury; his brothers, Ronald Bertsch, Jr. (Cindy) of West Fargo, ND and Jerry Bertsch (Karen) of Loveland, CO; and his nieces and nephews, Brian, Carrie, Dacia, Kasey, Gina, Corey and Danae.
He started working in environmental services at Sanford Hospital on University Drive in Fargo where he worked until his death from COVID.
