He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Kaufman and Avalee Kaufman (Burkhart); and his siblings, Gene and Kathryn Holm (Harold "Tork"). He is survived by: his wife Lana Bakke; his children, Barbara Heidorn (Tim) of West Fargo, Stephanie Moninger (Randy) of Harrodsburg, KY and Ken Kleveland (Jen) of Fairmount, ND; his grandchildren, Nichlos (Meagen Neil), Amanda Heidorn, Kara Moninger, Kristin Dailey (Dexter), Casey Moninger, Baiden Sjomeling and Caleb Kleveland; his great grandchildren, Freya and Max Dailey; his brothers, Fred (Paula) of West Fargo, ND and Ben (Deb) of Casselton; and his sister-in-law Connie Kaufman of Casselton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
