It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Hertz of Carson, North Dakota, born in New Leipzig, North Dakota, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hertz and Marie Hertz; his siblings, Don and Darlene; and his grandchildren, Andrew Hertz, Shane Bahm and Emily Hertz.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy LeBeau; his children, Jackie Stewart (Dan), Jaymie Hertz, Joanie Bahm (Allan) and Reed Hertz (Ann); and his siblings, Joann Ozbun (Roger) and Gary Hertz (Kathy). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
