He is survived by: his parents, Robert Sauer and Gloria Sauer of Carson, ND; his sons, Robert Lee Sauer of Mandan, ND and Mark Sauer of Elgin, ND; his grandson Sage Lee Sauer; and his siblings, Sandra Tibke (Brian) of Carson, ND, Terry Sauer (Jenny) of Glen Ullin, ND, Connie Aberle (Calvin) of Bismarck, ND and Darcy Schutt (Jeff) of Beulah, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
