We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2019, at the age of 88, Leonard Steinmetz (Carson, North Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Mabel; his daughter Sandra; his half-siblings, Howard Reamer, Mark Reamer and Emma Reamer Steinmetz; and his brother-in-law Richie Swanson.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Hauge; his children, Lucia, Tania Durham (David) of Lebanon, TN, Taressa Kendall, Ramona Martin (Rick), Lennie (Becky) of Jamestown, William F. (Joleen) of Jamestown and Jon (Andrea); his grandchildren, Reese Wahl, Nolan Wahl (Megan Kitsch), Simone Overskei (Trevor), Clay Kendall, Chase Kendall, Hannah Steinmetz, Sophie Steinmetz, Sydney Johnson (Martin), Shelby Jager (Tyler), Carson Steinmetz, Jaeger, Javana, Jalana, Anakeya and Jarrett Steinmetz; his great grandchildren, Levi Donnegan Wahl, Delaney Ault Finck, Vera Overskei and Catherine Johnson; his stepgrandchildren, Jill Groce (Michael), Jenny Gresham (Danny), Clinton Durham (Christine), Wade Martin and Matt Martin; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alexandra, Savannah, Knox Groce and Elizabeth Gresham; and his sisters, Wilma Swanson of Grafton, ND and Mildred Seaborn. He is also survived by friends; he lovingly prepared Tuesday morning breakfast for his sons and grandsons.
