He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigurd Bjornstad and Martha Bjornstad (Stenberg); his son Carl Dwayne; his great great grandchild Avalynn Rae Lunden; and his siblings, Harold, Kenneth, Bjorn, Sigurd (Buddy), Lillian, Margaret and Ruby.
He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Haas; his wife Joyce Wisler; his children, Karen Anderson (Monte) of Perham, MN, Norman Bjornstad of Maricopa, Bobby Bjornstad (Nancy) of Carrington, ND, Sheila Hartl (Ron) of Dickinson, ND, Laona Eggl (Garth) of Cando, ND and Royce Bjornstad (Charlene) of Crocker, MO; his daughter-in-law Mary Lue Bjornstad of Arkansas; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Reid and Dorothy Bjornstad. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, the following CDC recommendations are highly encouraged: Social Distancing, Hand Cleansing and Sanitization, and Wearing Masks. Please stay at home if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
