He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Flanders and Lois Flanders (Gage); his wife Marlyn Stone; his brother Duaine Flanders; and his in-laws, Myrna Stone, Gilmore, Betty Murphy, Floyd, Ramona Stone and Marvin Stone.

He is survived by: his daughter Kari Hill (David) of Overly, ND; his sister Janice Evans (Mack); his sister-in-law Peggy Flanders; his in-laws, Merlyn, Arlys Stone, Arvid and Joan Stone; and his sister-in-law Annalee Stone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
