He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Brend and Helene Brend (Gunderson); and his brother-in-law Gerald Kirchmeier. He is survived by: his wife Vicki of Buxton; his daughter Emily Hayden of Derby, KS; his stepchildren, Torry Ward of Hutchinson, KS, Michelle Oglesby (Jason) of Haysville, KS and Tobby Ward (Amanda); his siblings, Julie Kirchmeier of Ada, MN and Lyle Brend (Pat) of Mesa, AZ; his parents-in-law, Karen Peters (Ron) of Kilgore, TX and Bob Hauschild (Sherri) of Hutchinson, KS; and his brother-in-law Tim Hauschild of Prairie Village, KS. He is also survived by Many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
