Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roland Bruce Haugen of Butte, North Dakota, born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 89, on June 20, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Haugen and Emma Haugen (Rehnstrom); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Myer; his children, Linda Haugen of Stewartville, MN, Bryan Haugen (Janine) of Denver, CO, David Haugen (Corliss) of Butte and Lisa Pritchard (Gene) of Dennison, MN; his granddaughters, Alisha (Mariah), Katherine (Elizabeth), Jennifer (Jason) and Cassandra (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Reese, Avery, Hailey Jo, Jackson and Brooklyn; and his sister-in-law Dolores Haugen of Butte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private service will be held Wednesday, June 24 at 3:00 P. M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Butte followed by the committal service at the Butte Cemetery at 3:45 P. M. Those wishing to pay respects may do so at the visitation from 3-6 PM on Tuesday, June 23 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Drake, or at the committal service at the Butte Cemetery on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Souris Valley Care Center in Roland's memory.
