He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Butler and Katie Butler (Stumper); his children, Benjamin and Sherri; and his siblings, Bill, Leonard, Rick and JoAnn.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Downey; his children, Mike, Mark, Nathan, Matthew, Ciana and Monica; his brother Les; and his adoptive daughter Kayla. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
