He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hestekin and Olga Hestekin (Hanson); his sister Betty; his nephew Nathan; and his brother-in-law Neil Buchholz.
He is survived by: his wife Ardis Narum; his children, Wanda Miller (Wes), Kristi Krebs (Leonard), Jay Hestekin (Cindy) and Betty Schill (Eric); his grandchildren, Jacob Krebs (Kaylee), Britt Miller (Diane), Ashley Rebel (Ryan), Paige Sanford (Shawn), Jarett Hestekin (Kaitlyn), Taylor Myers (Derek), Megan Brost (Dawson), Danielle Schill, Kevin Schill and Aaron Schill; his sisters, Lorraine Baker (Ray) and Lavonne Ervin (Jack); and his sister-in-law Doris Buchholz. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
