It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Stotz (Bowman, North Dakota), born in Bowdle, South Dakota, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Avon Johnson (Avie); his mother Pauline; his stepfathers, Leif Carlson and Merton Cole (Slim); and his father Emil.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Doohen (Jerry) of Dickinson, ND, Sharon Holder (Dewey) of Bowman, ND and Shannon (Desirae) of Java, SD; his grandchildren, Stephanie Holder, Tyler Doohen (Kelsey), Stacey Holder, Dawn Doohen, Shantel Lewton (Tad), Ryan Stotz (Brittany Bissett) and Breanna Stotz; and his great grandchildren, Avy Doohen, Irelynn Doohen, Corbin Lewton, Axton Doohen, Bentley Bissett, Mya Lewton and Willow Stotz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Jerry's memory.
