Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Oberfoell of Bowman, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 96, on October 6, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oberfoell and Dora Oberfoell (Nichols). He is survived by: his wife Louise Mueller; his children, Sandra Dingfelder of Bowman, ND, Becky Oakland (Don) of Tucson, AZ and Tim Oberfoell of Bowman, ND; his grandchild Lee Dingfelder (Amber) of Fair Oaks, CA; and his children, Kristi Shanenko (Eric) and Valley.

Jim accumulated an extensive butterfly collection that was later donated to NDSU.
