He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brooks and Ruby Brooks (Gausemel); his children, Dianne and James; his brothers, Eugene and Wayne Brooks; his sister-in-law Lillian Brooks; his child Lee Brooks; and his son-in-law Lee Kralicek.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Brooks of Bowman, ND; his sister Connie Padgett (Dave); his sister-in-law Noel Nordberg of Bowman, ND; his children, Cheryl Brooks of Grand Forks, ND, Tracy Kralicek (Dave Lunn) and Rob Brooks (Holly); his daughters-in-law, Kathy Rauscher (Steve) and Kristi Brooks; his grandchildren, Karin Kralicek, Kelly Kralicek, Dana Cortade (David), Jordan Brooks, Larissa Brooks (Jaron Reisenauer), Kaitlin Brooks, Hank Brooks (Paige), Ben Brooks (Paola), Josh Brooks and Isaac Brooks; and his great grandchild Everly Brooks.
