He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his daughter Ruth Brooks; his daughter-in-law Brenda Brooks; and his brother Wayne Brooks. He is survived by: his parents, Harold H. Brooks and Ruby Gausemel Brooks; his children, Paul Brooks (Linda), Myrna Gordon (Steve), Sandra Smith (David), Patty Shuler (Don) and Nola Cox (Dan); his siblings, Howard Brooks (Pauline) of Bowman, ND and Connie Padgett (David) of Custer, SD; and his sister-in-law Noel Nordberg (Gene). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
