He was predeceased by: his parents, T. D. Acheson and Lottie Acheson (Kirn); his daughter Cathy Jo Krogsrud (Scott Krogsrud); his stepdaughter Amanda Sather; and his brother-in-law Keith Bird.
He is survived by: his former wife Evonne (Rude); his son Thomas Jr. (Lisa); his wife Sheila; his daughter Julie Davis (Kyle); his stepchildren, Andy Sather (Melissa) and Angie Stratton (Tyler); his stepgrandchildren, Belle Stratton of Minot, ND, Alexis, Ellie, Riley Sheppard (Ethan) and Seth Davis; his great grandchildren, Lane and Braelynn; and his siblings-in-law, Sharen Bird, Shirley Pederson (Rodney), Lynn Walsh (Jeff) and Sheldon Voeller (Janet).
