It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oliver D. Herbel of Bottineau, North Dakota, born in Munich, North Dakota, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhart Herbel and Mary Herbel (Klein); his wife Betty Jean Herbel (Hoff); his son-in-law Les Jensen; and his siblings, Marvin Herbel, Don Herbel, Vernon Herbel, Elroy Herbel and Iris Severtson (Herbel).
He is survived by: his children, Rick Herbel (Shirley) of Dickinson, Doreen Jensen of Bottineau, Rhoda Bliss (Glenn) of Bottineau and Tammie Peltier (Joe) of Dunseith; and his siblings, Gilbert Herbel, Ray Herbel, Lorraine Christian (Herbel), Laverne Grossman (Herbel) and Marion Albrecht (Herbel). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
