It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ione Skarphol of Bottineau, North Dakota, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Wall and Alma Wall (Seter); her husband Nels Skarphol of Souris; and her siblings, Harold (Mary), Russell (June), Howard (Francis), Doris Birkner (John) and Loraine Bjorke (Owen).
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Jennifer) of Aliso Viejo, CA. and Sharon Heilman (Tom) of Bismarck, ND.; her grandchildren, Lindsey Lindsey (David) of Gilbert, AZ. and Eric Heilman (Laura) of St. Paul, MN.; her great grandchildren, Christian, Liv Lindsey and Nels Heilman; her brothers, John Wall of Fargo, ND and Kenneth of Minneapolis, MN.; her sister-in-law Betsy; and also, Harold (Lillian), Verdeen (Gladys), Alice Gustafson (Wallace), Mabel Brandvold, Agnes Lindstrom (Harold) and Marshall Tallon.
