It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harold Gessner of Bottineau, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 87, on December 30, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Gessner and Olga Gessner (Trebas); and his brothers, Egon Gessner, Martin Gessner, Ewalt Gessner, Ben Gessner, Maurice Gessner and Earl Gessner.
He is survived by: his wife Avonne Gorder (Vellema); his daughters, Shelley Klein of Minot, Tammy Hall (Mike) of Newburg and Debbie Nelson of Minot; his grandchildren, Bethany Hughes (Justin), Jameson Hall (Libby), Jasmine Tengesdal (Jake), Elizabeth Elgie (Zac), Jordan Nelson (Kayley) and Alex Nelson (Shaylyn); his great grandchildren, Dennis, Harrison Hughes, Piper Tengesdal, Avery Jordan Nelson, Elgie and April; his sister Lorraine Green; and his parents-in-law, Elaine Fiskum, Vonda Olson, Steve, Randy Gorder and Joyce Gorder. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
