As we bid Cheryl farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cheryl is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Sund and Arbell Sund; her siblings, Jim Sund and Vicky Middendorf (Dick Samuelson); and her son Wayd Helming.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Barkie, Erica Suzuki, Deidre Lake and John Samuelson; and her siblings, Kathy Susag and Sam Sund. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and her seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nero Funeral Home (1109 11th St E, Bottineau, ND 58318).
