She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Skarstad and Gerda Skarstad (Kulsethmoe); her daughter Barbara Gene Christenson; and her brother Cameron Skarstad. She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her son Gary Christenson (Edith) of Minot; her grandson Andrew Gordon Christenson of Minot; her siblings, Sharon Anderson (Rodney) of Williston, ND, Norman Skarstad of Fergus Falls, MN and Gayle Skarstad (Deborah); and her sister-in-law Sharon Langehaug (Sherman) of Grand Forks, ND. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Memorials : In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the First Lutheran Church Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
