He was predeceased by: his parents, June Hanson (Vosper) and Courtlan "Bud" Hanson; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Carolina Osland (Johnson); and his sister-in-law Joan Graffius (Osland).
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Hanson of Blanchard; his children, Margretta Hanson (Jeff Martell) of Saint Paul and Elizabeth Johnson (JJ) of Fargo; his grandchildren, James Johnson, Mara Johnson and Carolina Martell; and his brother-in-law Arnold Osland (Pat). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many extended family.
