With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Thorson (Bismarck, North Dakota), who passed away on April 10, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Mohl and Lydia Mohl; her former husband Newton Schramm; her husband Harvey Thorson; her sisters, Greta Gutknecht, Eunice Malke and Calma Mohl; her sons-in-law, Chuck Flakker, Dennis Klipfel and Danny Wells; and her grandson Charles Umpleby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Arlyce Wells of Yuma, AZ, Jan Klipfel of Yuma, AZ, Jocelyn Flakker of Yuma, AZ and Renita Casey (Rick) of Keizer, OR; and her stepdaughter Mary Jane Thorson of Bismarck, ND. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers/donations the family requests memorials be sent to their favorite charity.
