He is survived by: his wife Tina Frey; his children, Casey Melvin (Ryan) of Las Vegas, NV and Cody Walker of Fargo, ND; his grandson Ryker Melvin; his sisters, Kristie Schnoor (Mark) of Aberdeen, SD and Carol Gloden (Mike) of Des Moines, IA; his parents-in-law, Penny Cresap (Eldon) of Bismarck, ND and Robert Frey (Sharon) of Clitherall, MN; his sisters-in-law, Dawn Bloom (Dale) of Regina, SK and Tonya Gackle (Jon) of Alexandria, MN; and his close friends, Clyde Lewis, John McQuillen, Jody Dawson, Alex Lund and Dennis Sailer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
