He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Werre and Beva Werre (Scott); his former wives, Donna Thompson and Mary Evans; his wife Jeanie Schields; his children, Lori Holweger (Rick) of Steele, ND, Scott (Melanie) and Todd (Shelly); his sister Robin of Bismarck, ND; and his stepsons, Loren Schields (Anne) of Annandale, VA and Kevin Schields (Susan) of Gonzales, TX. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Scottish Rite Speech Therapy Center, P.O. Box 2094, Bismarck, ND 58502; Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 106 Osage Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58501; or a charity of the donor's choice.
