He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M Bailey and Jean Bailey (Kuntz); his siblings, Lorraine and Roger; and his son Walter E..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Gary Bailey (Colleen) of Fargo and Jeanne Vetter (Gary) of Bismarck; and his grandchildren, Catherine, Cian, Joseph and Bishop. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the State Historical Society of North Dakota Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
