He is survived by: his wife Mary Scherr (Axtman); his daughters, Kim Schaefer (Mike) of Fargo and Cindy Edwards (Jim) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Danielle Lunde (Jake) of Fargo, Matthew Edwards of Minneapolis, Jared Schaefer (Georgie) of Bottineau, Jacy Edwards of Minneapolis and Eric Schaefer of Fargo; his great grandchildren, Ellie and Emerson Lunde of Fargo; his siblings, Helen Niess, Audrey Williams of Minot and Don Scherr (Edie) of Bismarck; his sisters-in-law, Marcella of Minot, Gloria Scherr of Minot and Delilah Scherr of Rugby; and his niece Brenda Cunningham (Scherr). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
